The seasons which shape us...

seasons which shape us.jpg

Seasons shape us.

And although I don’t especially mean LITERAL seasons, they too have a way of reminding us of what’s to come. Like blossom on the trees letting us know that spring has indeed arrived.

I believe our spiritual/emotional/mental seasons leave us visual cues too. Or audible ones at least.

Like the signs we continually get which remind us ‘this is the way, walk in it.’ And yet. we STILL ask questions. We still doubt whether or not we heard right or saw right and so the cycle continues.

But honestly? Honestly, sometimes it’s about just KNOWING and GOING. It’s about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. It’s about starting in Spring, what you want to achieve in the Summer.

This next season of my life feels unfamiliar and yet also feels like an old friend. It feels like uncharted territory and also a well-trodden path. You see, I’ve shared the Bible for as long as I can remember. As a teacher, I’d sometimes have Biblical text as the stimuli for a play my students were working on, as a youth worker the whole community I was living in at the time came out to watch a play I’d written which was performed by local youth and based on the story of the prodigal son. I will still be doing those things...

Letting God’s word fuel creativity which spills into OTHER areas is natural to me...

But just teaching the Bible without a play, a story or a business strategy attached seems vulnerable and strange plus everything I’ve ever known all rolled into one.

And yet, I know that’s what’s next and I couldn’t be more excited! Because ‘just teaching the Bible’ isn’t actually ‘just’ anything. God’s Word isn’t just a book for a shelf. It’s packed with promises and truth which change everything. If you’d like to step into this new season with me, I’d love for you to be a part of it.

HEY! I’m Naomi, Business Coach for High-Level Female Entrepreneurs & Founder of Living Word League.

I coach, write, teach and run programs which infuse practical strategies with Biblical principles (which I personally think is the best rule of thumb for success.) I moved from a 7-year High School teaching career, to building and scaling my business after starting out as a hobby-status blogger in 2011. Within months, I was able to go totally full time and haven't looked back. My success, as someone who previously would have never seen myself as an entrepreneur means that I'm now beyond passionate about business being an expression of Kingdom-building here on earth. Hobby status and inconsistent feast to famine months aren't cutting it for you anymore right? You're meant for a business which has faith as your foundation AND soars with success. That's where I come in.
