Who's in YOUR corner?

Who's in your corner.jpg

Today, I’ve been thinking about the whole ‘self-made’ thing people claim to be, and how it’s only half of the story...

Because you know when people talk about raising a child & say ‘it takes a village’? I’d absolutely say the same for ANYTHING worth having/raising/building/birthing.

Yes, if you’ve been given a vision, a goal, or a mission there is NO ONE who is going to believe in it more than you & so no, no one’s really going to work if YOU aren’t...

But when your vision & mission starts to become bigger than you, there’s no WAY you can do everything. Like, if you’re the architect of a building, YOU’VE technically built it but that doesn’t now suddenly mean you’re also the one rushing out to buy furniture to design the interior. Someone else, far more capable than you will do that bit.

This is why community is key & it’s 100% fact that no man (or woman) is an island.

To be totally real? I’m an introvert at heart. I love my own company and sometimes don’t leave the house for like 3 days without really realising that’s what happened. While this is good in a lot of ways, in others, it has led me to be hugely strong-willed when I want to get something done. I’VE been the one who wants to build the website, design the workbooks, run the social media platforms etc when actually, that’s the smallest part of my role regarding my mission.

I’m here to write, teach & coach and the more freed up I am to do THOSE things, the better I am at them.

The past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster with a website designer I hired for Living Word League cancelling with JUST OVER 48 HOURS TO GO. Thankfully, it was just because God had other plans and when I found a last minute designer, I had no clue she’d soon become my newest team member(!) & also be designing my new Bible study workbooks for Living Word League members.

Don’t get me wrong, right at the start of me stepping into running my own business as I felt led, I did EVERYTHING & naturally, I still do a lot. But I can do a lot more of what I’m CALLED to do now because of the incredible support I have around me. Not only my team of course - but my family, friends and not forgetting my own Coach!

I don’t know what’s going to come next. All I know is I have some incredible people by my side who I couldn’t do it without!

And it got me to thinking… Who’s in YOUR corner?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…” (Hebrews 12:1)

Who are the people who are supporting YOU in doing what it is you’ve been called to do?

I’d love to be one of them.

Living Word League is all about supporting you in your walk with the LORD so that you can do what it is that you’ve been called to do filled with RESILIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, JOY, WISDOM and beyond.

Our bonus studies which took place this week had us looking at these books and thinking about what it means to be salt and light in our world. But don’t worry, you haven't missed out! When you join today, you can still catch up and get access to the replays and watch them through before our first study arrives on Tuesday.

May’s study is all about the WORD, which is quite fitting really, seeing as Living WORD League is founded on knowing God better as we dig into all He has to share with us – which is found right within the pages of our Bibles.

Founder’s rate is available too - even better!

HEY! I’m Naomi, Business Coach for High-Level Female Entrepreneurs & Founder of Living Word League.

I coach, write, teach and run programs which infuse practical strategies with Biblical principles (which I personally think is the best rule of thumb for success.) I moved from a 7-year High School teaching career, to building and scaling my business after starting out as a hobby-status blogger in 2011. Within months, I was able to go totally full time and haven't looked back. My success, as someone who previously would have never seen myself as an entrepreneur means that I'm now beyond passionate about business being an expression of Kingdom-building here on earth. Hobby status and inconsistent feast to famine months aren't cutting it for you anymore right? You're meant for a business which has faith as your foundation AND soars with success. That's where I come in.
