You already KNOW what you need to GROW
So, I get it. The title of this post may well have triggered you and had you all up in your thoughts with statements along the lines of...
"Erm, if I KNEW what I needed to grow, I'd be living it out."
Well... yes, and no.
Because the truth of the matter is, we always know more than our actions would suggest that we know.
This morning, my husband and I were reading Colossians and a couple of verses I've read loads of times jumped up at me afresh. I wondered if you might also be a bit struck by them too...
"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth." (Colossians 3:1-2)
In short... if we actually KNOW GOD, why do continually go back to worry, doubt, fear and everything in between as opposed to POWERFULLY setting our minds on He who already has paved a way for us, trusting that He’ll lead and guide us right?
It's time to end this repetitive and pointless cycle.
