AUDIO: Why and How should I read the Bible?

Recently, I was asked to deliver a message  at church answering this question based on some verses in second Timothy (2 Timothy 3:10 - 4:3). In my studying of the passage, I came away with two key points...

1. We are to take joy in our journey with God's word, surrounding ourselves with those who will speak truth into our lives as we endeavour to do the same for them.

2. We are to take joy in Jesus - the Word made flesh! We meet with Him as we open up the pages of the Bible. What a gift!
