#11 At the foot of the Cross

I went to a Good Friday service this morning. I was so moved in reflecting on the Cross. Reflecting on the fact that all the wrong things that I’ve ever done and ever will do were forgiven because of one perfect, sinless Saviour. The very fact He was pierced, should pierce my heart every time it comes to remembrance. Every time. Not just Good Friday. It’s eternally true and forever real.

“the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.” (Acts 2:20 ESV)

In two days time, Christians worldwide will celebrate that magnificent day. The day Jesus beat death and rose from the grave. But today, Good Friday, I’m reflecting on the Cross.

Reflecting on the fact that He chose to die in order to give me eternal life.
